- Community Support Fund Policy
At AsgaTech GBS, our commitment to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace underscores our belief in fostering the growth and well-being of our employees. We are dedicated to advocating for both strong physical health and positive mental well-being both inside and outside our company walls. We recognise that our success is intertwined with the prosperity of our employees, clients and community at large.
Within our Sustainability framework, our Social Pillar plays a crucial role in enabling us to engage with and contribute to the communities in which we operate. The AsgaTech Community Support Fund, and Community Support Team stand as a testament to our commitment to acknowledging and supporting the significant charity work and community projects undertaken by so many dedicated volunteers. Alongside our provision of labour and support to many worthy causes, it allows us to provide financial assistance to those working to address a specific environmental or social need within the community setting.

The Asgatech Community Support Team is comprised of volunteers from across our group of businesses. In line with our Social Pillar of Sustainability, they are involved in Community projects which add to the sense of community and allow for collaboration amongst various community groups. This is in recognition of the tireless work being carried out across communities on a daily basis by so many dedicated volunteers who labour for the improvement of their community.
One such collaboration is evident in our Water Pump Project, where the Asgatech Community Support Team partnered with the Tidy Towns Committee and the local County Council. Together, they carefully repaired and restored two disused water pump stands for the community to enjoy. The Asgatech Community Support Team also designed and installed new water pumps and flower planters, adding colour, biodiversity and a nod to the history and people of the local area.
In a recent act of community engagement and support for Castlecomer Tidy Towns, Asgatech GBS donated two specially commissioned planters, now positioned outside of the Church of The Immaculate Conception in Castlecomer. These unique planters were crafted by workers at the PACE charity in Dublin, an organisation chosen by Asgatech for its dedication to offering training and educational opportunities to vulnerable individuals in society. PACE provides comprehensive support to its participants, including training, work experience, employability assistance, and social enterprise programs.
This collaboration underscores Asgatech GBS’s commitment to its Social Pillar of Sustainability and Community Support, particularly in addressing local social needs. Their efforts complement those of local voluntary groups like Castlecomer Tidy-Towns, further enhancing the community’s appearance and well-being.
